Hello, friends around the world. Hello, friends of Hive, lovers of the most delicious golden liquid in the universe: beer. As usual, today we will share with our readers a delicious beer in one of the best initiatives on this platform: #BeerSaturday.
This week my vacation ended and I started work. It was a stressful week, as I had to get up early and spend the whole day away from home. As I am getting back into the work routine, when I arrived at my sweet home, I didn't feel like doing anything, just resting and sleeping.
So yesterday, even though it was a coworker's birthday, I decided to stay home, read a book, and crack open a couple of beers I had in the fridge. The book I'm reading is about Venezuela, my country, and the times it has risen from the ashes, and the beers were ice-cold Coronitas.
La Coronita is a smooth pale lager beer with a delicate 4.5% alcohol content. It is not bitter, but it is very refreshing, with a pale yellow color, and rather than a malt or hop aroma, it has a certain cereal flavor. In Venezuela, a 210 ml bottle costs $2.
We Venezuelan brewers are waiting to see what happens because, as a result of the economic injection, some items have fallen in price. It is believed that beer, at least domestic beer, may become more affordable. That would mean that Venezuelans could drink beer without it making a dent in our finances. We will have to wait and see.
After having two beers and refreshing ourselves, we gathered strength to continue with all the joy in the world. I would like to invite my friend @josemalavem to delight us with a post on The #BeerSaturday Challenge - Week 447, an initiative of the #beer community and the incomparable and friend @detlev.π»π
