This week I've been very busy because I've had to do some Christmas shopping. For example, today I went out to buy some blue decorations for the tree, and after walking around and around, we stopped to cool off and rest, and what better way than by having some delicious cold beers.

We ordered some Morena beers, which were delicious. I've already told you that of all the newest beers on the Venezuelan market, this is the one I like best, not only because of its aroma and flavor, but also because of its price: 0,80 cents. Less than a dollar.

La Morena is a lager-style beer from the Regional brewery, with moderate bitterness, abundant foam, and a delicious malty flavor that is slightly sweet and toasty. It also has a perfect 5% alcohol content and an amber, golden brown color.

In Cumaná and throughout Venezuela, it is normal for people to drink beer at midday, when the heat is unbearable and people look for ways to cool off and escape the heat, even if only for a moment. That is why there are air-conditioned liquor stores that offer beer at low prices, with tables and chairs, which serve as refuges for those fleeing the hot weather.

In the end, we had four beers and headed home: happy with our purchases and the beers. Because somewhere in the book of life it must say that drinking a cold beer when you're thirsty and hot must be one of the most delicious things in the world. Salud! 🍻
