Yesterday, Friday, it rained a lot in Cumaná, the city where I live, and I preferred to stay at home. I was thankful that the electricity was not out (in Venezuela, every time it rains, they suspend the power), also that I had beers in the fridge and that the new season of Squid game had started. With everything in my favor, I sat down to enjoy a different night.

This post is not about movies and series, so I will only talk about the delicious Heineken beers I had yesterday. However, if you haven't seen the Korean series The Squid Game, I recommend you do so soon. It just premiered on Netflix the third and final season, of 6 episodes.

Heineken beer was the first beer I ever tasted in my life and its taste was so pleasant that since that day beer has become my second favorite liquid, only surpassed by water. This Dutch beer (although some call it German) is considered the number one in terms of popularity, as it is one of the most marketed and known beers worldwide.

Heineken is a pale lager beer, of a soft golden color, with white foam and slight bitterness (this distinctive bitterness may be the reason why many say it is very strong, but between tastes and colors, the authors have written). The Heineken has a perfect 5° of alcohol. Its ingredients are: Purified water, malted barley, hops and yeast. And here in Venezuela, the cans have a value of 1.30$.

There was a time when all imported beers disappeared from our country and the beer that we asked the most to those who were abroad and sent us things, was precisely Heineken beers. And it's not just about drinking beer, it's about feeling happy while doing it. Because as the slogan the Heineken says: I don't sell beer, I sell pleasure.
