Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well 馃檪 Yesterday, I decided to walk around the center of Maia, to relax and see what was happening there. To my surprise, I stumbled upon a basketball tournament. I'm not a big sports fan, but I thought it would be interesting to stop and watch a little. The event had incredible energy, with many families and young people participating. I love it when these things happen without warning, it makes everything more exciting. And it was really funny, because I had no idea something like that was happening, it just happened while I was walking around.
I discovered that the 1st Maia International Minibasketball Tournament was taking place, with teams of young athletes between 6 and 18 years old. This tournament had an incredible vibe, and the fact that it was outdoors made it even more special. It was as if the city was being taken over by the spirit of basketball. The kids played with so much energy, and I was amazed at the skill of many of them. It's impressive to see the passion that these little athletes already have for the sport.
The tournament took place outdoors, next to the Maia dugout, and gave even more life to the city. Several fields were set up, and children played on several fronts. The audience was super involved, with parents and friends applauding every play. I found it interesting how an event like this can bring together so many people, regardless of age. And even though it wasn't planned, I ended up spending more time than I expected watching the games.
The environment was so welcoming that, even without knowing anyone, I felt part of it. It was a well-organized event, with several teams and many people to help, from coaches to volunteers. The children are generous in that they are having loads of fun, and there was a general feeling of joy and enthusiasm in the air. It was great to see the community come out to support the young athletes in such an enthusiastic and engaging way.
In total, around 60 teams participated in the tournament, and you could see that the competition was intense. But despite this, the focus seemed to be on fun and sportsmanship, which was nice to see. For me, as I'm not the biggest sports fan, it was a pleasant surprise with so much joy and energy surrounding basketball. It made my visit to the center of Maia a much livelier day than I expected.
Near the dugout, they set up several parallel activities linked to basketball. Even those who didn't play could participate and have fun. It was an excellent idea to involve the entire community, and this showed how much this event was designed for everyone. Seeing the joy on the children's faces as they played and participated was without a doubt the highlight of my day.
Furthermore, there was a sense of unity and collaboration among everyone. Volunteers, athletes, families, all together to make the tournament a success. This mix of sport and coexistence was what caught my attention the most. I was amazed how something as simple as a mini-basketball tournament could bring so much happiness and fun to so many people.
Even without knowing anything, stumbling upon this event was one of the best surprises I could have had that day. Seeing those young people playing and enjoying the moment made me realize how important these events are for the community. Not just to promote the sport, but also to create opportunities and give children opportunities to have fun and grow.
Next time I take a walk around the center of Maia, I will pay more attention to the events that may be happening. This tournament showed me that you never know when you might be studied for something so positive. Now, whenever I hear about outdoor sporting events, I'll be curious to see what's going on.
There were also some stalls where they served food so that children, teenagers and parents could have lunch because some came from other countries.
From 6pm until midnight there were DJs playing, really cool
I hope you liked it, see you soon friends

Ver aqueles jovens brincando e curtindo o momento me fez perceber o quanto esses eventos s茫o importantes para a comunidade.
Das 18h at茅 meia noite tinha DJs tocando, muito legal 馃檪
Espero que tenham gostado, at茅 breve amigos 鈽猴笍
