Hello everyone, hope you are well 馃槉 Today here in Portugal the weather is a little cloudy but it's hot. So I decided to go for a walk to Vila do Conde which is a city that I love 馃槉
The river that passes through Vila do Conde is called the Ave River. There was a canoeing class on the river for the children from the canoeing school and I really enjoyed watching it 馃槉
I really like boat trips, one of these days I'm going to buy a boat 馃槉 My grandfather had a boat but he sold it
This city attracts many tourists. It's beautiful 馃槏
We also have a lot of statues on the riverside, this is the monument to the fishmonger, who wants to pass on the following message: hope is the last to die
We also have the monument to the lacemaker of Vila do Conde. Beautiful sculpture and well-deserved tribute to the bobbin lacemakers of Vila do Conde, who make the city the main center of this art.
We also have this monument that is dedicated to the children of Vila do Conde who honored Portugal
This is Prassa D茫o Jo茫o Segundo. This square is located next to the River Ave in Vila do Conde, close to Nau Quinhentista and very close to DocaPesca - Lota de Vila do Conde. It is a very pleasant space that has several elements that make it aesthetically interesting, such as a Portuguese pavement forming a different and beautiful geometric design that looks like sea waves, a huge sculpture that represents a sundial, several balls that seem to be suspended in the water that surround them and a statue of a mermaid that seems to come out of a lake that surrounds it. There are several benches next to trees that provide shade on sunny days.

There are plenty of benches for people to sit and watch the river.
They also have a replica of the 16th century ship below. During the 16th century, Vila do Conde reached its commercial and maritime peak with shipbuilding, strongly linked to the Discoveries, whose tradition continues to this day. Memories of those times are clearly evident in the building of the Alf芒ndega R茅gia

What I think is most beautiful in Vila do Conde is the waterfall on the river Ave
Then there are some very beautiful gardens where you can sit and watch the river.
