Hello everyone, hope you are well ☺️ Today my family and I went to visit the church of la toja, which is in spain, in grove. It's one of the most beautiful churches I've ever seen ☺️

A hermitage completely covered by shells, surrounded by a very beautiful garden. We found it a very peculiar place, and the lady who was in the chapel was very nice

Very beautiful and original church. This small hermitage of the 12th century might look like a pretty chapel from the outside, but when you get closer, you can see that all its walls are covered with scallop shells. The pinkish white of its walls is due to the color of these shells that shine under the sun and at night, illuminated, offer a pearly glow.

The interior is very careful and has a virgin in a stone shell behind the altar.

It is a very unique hermitage because it is all covered with scallop shells. The environment is wonderful. The whole island of La Toja is beautiful and very calm.

It is wonderful to see the shells although it is a bit sad that they are written even though there is a notice that prohibits it.

Beautiful chapel located on the island of la toja (or grove)... singularly all lined with mollusk shells, with a park with benches to have a snack and spend a pleasant time, very close to the sea and the famous hobbit village of la Toja, it is not usually open but if you are lucky you can see it inside.

After the obligatory tour of the island of La Toja, this is a must visit. The originality of the chapel lies in the fact that it is completely covered with shells, which makes it unique and truly beautiful.

I've been here several times because I think this place is very beautiful and I hope I can come here many more times

I hope you liked it, see you soon friends 😊
