I still remember this day as if it were today, I woke up one morning with a beautiful sun and then my boyfriend and I decided to embark on an adventure along the enchanting sistelo walkways. But before heading to the walkways we decided to first explore the center of Arcos de Valdevez, a picturesque village in the north of Portugal that serves as the gateway to the beautiful walkways.
When I arrived there, in the center of Arcos de Valdevez, my boyfriend and I were immediately captured by the welcoming and historic atmosphere of the place. The cobbled streets, lined with buildings with traditional facades, told stories of a rich and vibrant past. Walking through the streets of the small village was as if we were walking through a museum, where every corner revealed new details of local history and culture.
While exploring the village, we found the famous tank that occupies a place in the center of the city. I dare to say that these pastures have so far been the most beautiful I have visited in Portugal, each curve reveals a new breathtaking landscape. The constant presence of water, whether in the form of streams or waterfalls, adds an element of peace and freshness to the journey.
Along the way I stopped several times to take in the view and take some photos to keep a recording on my cell phone and to show you too, of course 馃檪 the walkways are well maintained and offer several rest areas where visitors can relax and watch the beauty of the environment. Information about the local flora and fauna is displayed on information panels along the way, which makes these walkways even more interesting, allowing for a greater understanding and appreciation of the region's biodiversity.
Reflecting my journey to the Sistelo walkways was an unforgettable experience that combined exploring the historic charm of Arcos de Valdevez with the stunning natural beauty of Sistelo. Arcos de Valdevez with its picturesque streets, the historic tank, the church and the enchanting landscapes is a destination that captivates the heart and imagination.

Meanwhile we went home, during a car trip I was just grateful for the opportunities that life has given me, getting to know spectacular places with incredible company. I felt renewed and inspired, with a greater appreciation for the historical and natural richness of this region of Portugal. I love visiting new places and learning about the history and culture of that place, I love learning. These two places are undoubtedly must-visit destinations, offering travelers an experience that is at the same time very peaceful, educational and deeply rewarding.

Ainda me lembro deste dia como se fosse hoje, acordei uma manh茫 com um sol lindo e ent茫o eu e o meu namorado decidimos embarcar numa aventura pelos encantadores passadi莽os do Sistelo. Mas antes de seguirmos para os passadi莽os decidimos primeiro explorar o centro de Arcos de Valdevez, uma pitoresca vila do norte de Portugal que serve de porta de entrada para os belos passadi莽os.
Quando l谩 cheguei, no centro de Arcos de Valdevez, eu e o meu namorado fomos imediatamente capturados pelo ambiente acolhedor e hist贸rico do local. As ruas de paralelep铆pedos, ladeadas por edif铆cios com fachadas tradicionais, contavam hist贸rias de um passado rico e vibrante. Caminhar pelas ruas da pequena vila era como se estiv茅ssemos passeando por um museu, onde cada recanto revelava novos detalhes da hist贸ria e cultura local.
Ao explorar a aldeia, encontr谩mos o famoso tanque que ocupa um lugar no centro da cidade. Este tanque, al茅m de ser ponto de encontro dos moradores, serve como fonte de 谩gua doce, utilizada para abastecer os moradores, seus animais e as pessoas que por ali passam. hoje continua a ser um s铆mbolo da comunidade e um local de descanso para quem quer desfrutar de tranquilidade.
A igreja de Arcos de Valdevez, n茫o poderia deixar de visitar esta igreja matriz de Arcos de Valdevez, dedicada a S茫o Salvador. Esta igreja tem a sua arquitectura barroca, 茅 um verdadeiro marco na paisagem da vila.
Sa铆 da igreja e continuei minha caminhada pelas ruas da vila, apreciando as lindas paisagens pelas quais passamos. Arcos de Valdevez est谩 situado numa regi茫o de grande beleza natural, com colinas verdejantes e vales pitorescos.
S贸 as margens do rio que atravessa a vila s茫o muito bonitas, oferecendo um cen谩rio perfeito para um passeio relaxante.
Depois de explorar o centro da vila rumamos aos passadi莽os do sistelo, ansiosos por descobrir a beleza natural que me esperava. Sistelo 茅 tamb茅m conhecido pelo Tibete Portugu锚s, 茅 famoso pelos seus terra莽os e paisagens maravilhosas. Passarelas foram constru铆das para facilitar o acesso a essas maravilhas naturais, permitindo aos visitantes explorar a 谩rea com seguran莽a e conforto.
Ao longo dos passadi莽os temos vistas espectaculares sobre as colinas e vales circundantes. Caminhar por essas passarelas 茅 uma experi锚ncia 煤nica. Atrevo-me a dizer que estas pastagens foram at茅 agora as mais bonitas que visitei em Portugal, cada curva revela uma nova paisagem deslumbrante. Ao longo do caminho parei v谩rias vezes para apreciar a vista e tirar algumas fotos para deixar registrado no meu celular e para mostrar a voc锚s tamb茅m, claro 馃檪 as passarelas s茫o bem conservadas e oferecem diversas 谩reas de descanso onde os visitantes podem relaxar e observar o beleza do ambiente.
