Hello everyone, yesterday unfortunately I couldn't come to write a little for you. But today I come to talk a little about what I did yesterday at school with my students. For those who don't know, I work with children aged 4, 5 and some are already turning 6. Sarah turned 6 on Thursday and so whenever a child has a birthday, I and all the children in the birthday girl's room make a drawing for us. In the end, I make a book with all the drawings to take home so Sarah can remember them one day later 😊 💕
I asked them to draw whatever they wanted for Sarah. Some did what they like to do with Sarah, others made a cake and balloons, rockets. Children love to draw pictures for birthdays 💕
Friendship is one of the most important values in the development of a child's education. It is the personal affection, pure and disinterested, shared with another person, which is born and strengthened in the face of relationships between human beings 😊
Children should know who is a good friend and why, how good friends behave, and how to maintain a good friendship. They must learn that a good friend can be with them forever, and that for that it is necessary to cultivate and nurture friendship, day after day, at school, in the park, in the neighborhood, etc. Contact with peers makes the child's universe even grander and richer. Through the other, the child can learn about the world and about himself ☺️
For the child to learn about the value of friendship, it is necessary to generate in them notions, knowledge, skills, emotions, experiences, feelings and that we prepare them to live with harmony and respect 💕
The child can learn the value of friendship:
Seeking reconciliation and not fighting with your friends
Sharing their toys with other children
Talking and attending to others
When he helps a companion who has done something bad, explaining what was wrong and his correct action.
When you worry about your friends
When you strive to do something useful for the benefit of your friends
Cheer up the friend when he's sad
Rejoices in the positive achievements of others - Demonstrates affection and care for your friends.
Drawing is essential for child development, in addition to being a very fun activity, it is a form of communication. It is where children express their feelings, ideas and wishes, especially when they still cannot express themselves through oral and written language.
When the child draws, he creates bridges between his imaginary world and what is real, expressing his visions of the world. Through the drawing it is possible to understand, for example, if the child is shy, if he has self-confidence and also what his interests are.
At school, drawing should not be devalued or limited. It needs to be seen as a very important resource, especially in early childhood education.
Having the space of drawing as an activity is essential for the cognitive, emotional and social development of children, in addition to developing a sense of observation, perceiving the variety of colors, shapes and textures.
Drawings help children to develop in many ways, including:
- Socio-emotional development
Drawing allows the child to express himself, improving the control of emotions and also revealing a therapeutic function, because by stimulating artistic activities, children tend to move away from feelings of apathy and sadness, distancing themselves from anxiety and even depression
I hope you liked it, see you soon friends ☺️
