Today I want to share with you what for me are the photographs that I liked the most of the session I did for my friend Kat a few weeks ago and the reason why these are my favorites is because of two things, the first is that we could take advantage of the golden hour, although it lasted very little, but I think it was enough for the photographs that I imagined at that time and the other reason was Kat's attitude, by that time she had really adopted the role of model.

El día de hoy quiero compartirles las que para mí son las fotografías que más me gustaron de la sesión que le realicé a mí amiga Kat hace algunas semanas y el motivo de que estas sean mis favoritas es por dos cosas, la primera es que pudimos aprovechar la hora dorada, aunque duró muy poco, pero considero que fue lo suficiente para las fotografías que me imaginé en ese momento y el otro motivo fue la actitud de Kat, para ese momento ya había adoptado realmente el papel de modelo.
The pictures with Kat I must say that they were the most fun to do, seriously if you knew her you would realize how funny she can be, besides being very spontaneous, so everything she is thinking she says it and this makes things flow in a very natural way, even her reactions while I was showing her how the pictures were turning out were so cute that really made me feel that I was doing a good job with her pictures, it is one of the most beautiful and productive sessions I've done.
Las fotografías con Kat debo decir que fueron las más divertidas de realizar, en serio que si la conocieran a ella se darían cuenta lo graciosa que puede llegar a ser, además de ser muy espontanea, por lo que todo lo que está pensando lo dice y esto hace que las cosas fluyan de una manera muy natural, incluso sus reacciones mientras le mostraba el cómo estaban quedando las fotos resultaban tan lindas que realmente me hicieron sentir que estaba haciendo un buen trabajo con sus fotografías, es una de las sesiones más lindas y productivas que he realizado.
One thing I want my photographs to be identifiable is the amount of detail in them, I only have one lens which is the kit lens (18-55mm) so I really try to make the most of it and so far I am very happy with it and I think I have found the sweet spot of the lens, at least it has worked for me to keep the aperture at 10, this way I get more focus on the model, I lose blur of the background certainly, but as I said, I like the fact of having a lot of detail in the photographs.
Algo en lo que quiero que mis fotografías se puedan identificar es en la cantidad de detalles en ellas, sólo tengo un único lente que es el de kit (18-55mm) por lo que intento realmente sacarle el mayor provecho que puedo y de momento estoy muy contento con ello y es que creo que he encontrado el punto dulce del lente, al menos a mí me ha funcionado el mantener el diafragma en 10, de esta forma consigo que este más enfocada la modelo, pierdo desenfoque del fondo ciertamente, pero como dije, me gusta el hecho de tener una gran cantidad de detalles en las fotografías.
