Monomad: An unexpected dragonfly in my backyard [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Since I've been in Hive I've come across many dragonfly pictures and all of them are very striking to me, because taking pictures of these little friends is quite complicated, because any approach you try to make they fly away immediately, so I was trying many times and failing in almost all of them, until recently one of them let me take pictures.

Desde que estoy en Hive me he cruzado con muchas fotografías de libélulas y todas son muy llamativas para mí, porque el hacerles fotografías a estas pequeñas amiguitas es bastante complicado, porque en cualquier acercamiento que intentes hacer se van volando de inmediato, por eso estuve intentándolo muchas veces y fallando en casi todas, hasta que hace poco tiempo una dejó hacerse fotografías.

I have seen many dragonflies flying around my house, especially the patio, clearly not constantly, but on several occasions and in all of them they never stopped for less than 5 or 10 seconds, but luckily this one did for many minutes, I took several pictures and maybe even could have been there longer, but I tried to get a little closer.

He visto muchas libélulas volar por mi casa, en especial el patio, claramente no de manera constante, pero si en varias ocasiones y en todas nunca se detenían por menos de 5 o 10 segundos, pero por suerte esta si lo hizo por muchos minutos, hice varias fotografías e incluso quizás podría haber estado ahí más rato, pero intenté acercarme un poco más.

For these pictures I chose black and white because it was the best way to see those details in the dragonfly's wings as well as in the other parts of its body. I took these pictures with an 18-55 mm lens, so it was a real challenge, but I must say that I am quite happy with the result.

Para estas fotografías elegí que estuviesen en blanco y negro porque era la mejor manera de ver esos detalles tanto en las alas de la libélula como en las otras partes de su cuerpo. Estas fotografías las hice con un lente 18-55 mm, por lo que fue un verdadero reto, pero debo decir que estoy bastante contento con el resultado.
