Pycnoporus sanguineus is a white rotten saprobik. It is found on Guana Island (part of the Virgin Islands) but occurs throughout the tropics, usually grown in dead hardwoods. Growing up in various countries is also able to adapt to various climates.
At appearance at each growth Pycnoporus provides a view in the form of a thin dry cone with lateral attachment to its substrate, bright orange on all surfaces with concentric zoning, and the pores at the bottom are small. It can't be eaten because of its hard texture, so don't try to think about cooking Pycnoporus in any form. Look for mushrooms that can be consumed if you really do mushroom dishes.
