Currently in the city there is the Cricket Emerging T20 Asia Cup series being played. Yesterday was the big match India-Pakistan and we had decided in our circle to go for the match. The match between these two countries is always very popular and lot of anticipation happens here. For all the other matches the stadium is not even getting filled up at 50% capacity but yesterday it was a packed stadium, and I guess they oversold the tickets because people who came in late did not even have seats to sit and quite a few of the public was standing.

We had the sense that this particular match is going to be hot favorite and there will be lot of public coming to watch, we were 25 of us and we all wanted to sit together so decided to leave early. It was free seating, we planned to reach there by hour and a half early before the start of the match so that we could get the best seats and when we reached the stadium had already kind of started getting full but we did manage to get good seats, all of us together. Our whole gang wore the team India t-shirt and we were all super charged throughout the game.

When the match began, it was super fun, there was separate seating for India and Pakistan spectators. Indian viewers were more then double in numbers and there was crazy cheering happening from both the sides. India batted first and made 184 runs. Pakistan gave a very good chase and till the end the fight was tough. Their players were too good but in the end they lost the game with just 15 runs.

After the match got over, and we had to leave, it took us almost 45 minutes to leave the stadium parking lot, because the whole place was jammed up with vehicles and that was the little frustrating part, as the traffic exit was not managed very well. But then we were so happy with the win that once we were out again we were in the winning excitement.
