Yesterday I travelled back to Mumbai my home after 2 months and now I am going to be here for a short span of 2 weeks. The trip is majorly planned to monitor the progress of my home and there are lots of things that I also need to select now for the interiors. This time, I have to select all the electrical fixtures, like the lights, fans and other equipment. I have to also select all the bathroom fittings. In this week the doors will be fitted so I can monitor that work also. Ideally in a month's time if need be I can start living in my home because the water supply and electricity is all established and the fixtures will also be done in the next 2 weeks once I select it.

I do not have any furniture at home, so yes living here will be a challenge, but at the same time I can arrange for some temporary mattresses and chairs, because that's the basic I would need if I want to start living here. For Food, I do not have to worry because my neighbors are providing catering service, I can always order food from them.

Tomorrow I will be visiting the site and I am so excited, because this is the first time I will see my home almost completed with all the work and even the outside garden area has been more or less completed. Today it has been a busy morning, I needed some wood for some of the wood work at home and one of my friend here in Mumbai had left overs after she got her house renovation work done. Morning I had to go to her place to check on that and then bring it to my home. It was a tedious activity, but it does save me some money, also the wood she has is of very good quality, it was worth the effort.

Yesterday after reaching home around late afternoon time, I was planning to step out to complete some work, but then my Son and his girl friend both were home and we were having conversations, the whole evening passed away in that and then I was feeling too lazy to step out later in the evening. All that work has also piled up for today. I have to go to the furniture store later in the day, to check on a few furniture items like to sofa, beds and cupboard for the home.

It's a 2 weeks visit, but I feel like I am having work to do for 2 months. I will also remove time to catch up with my friends. While day time is all work, late evenings are always for my friends and leisure activity. While it's going to be a hectic 2 weeks, I am also excited about so many things taking place and my home taking up good shape as per my wishes.
