While scouting undiscovered locations, I cleared a homestead taken by bandits, only to find the owner dead. Afterward, I visited a survivor camp, learned of a battle at Kuta Farmstead, and rescued a tortured peasant from Mongols along the way.
So I decided to check around for undiscovered locations, and when I was on my way to one, I noticed there were some bandits around a property. So I jumped off my horse to attack them, drawing my katana as I sprinted toward the perimeter.
Then I used a black powder bomb against a bandit, but I miscalculated the placement, so I got damaged as well before took down another bandit. I'm sure the explosive blast ringed in Jin's ears.
I found one of them was clinging to life as he didn't die yet, so I gave him mercy by ending his suffering, executing a swift, clean strike to put the defeated raider out of his misery.
When I thought those were the only bandits on the property, I found another one lighting up a campfire, whom I assassinated quietly before he could raise an alarm.
After getting inside the house, I found more bandits who were stealing stuffs around. And I took them down with merciless attacks, cornering the looters in the narrow hallways and dismantling their defense with quick strikes.
Then I found the owner of this property dead in another room who died by the hands of those bandits. I wish I could save her.
I rode to this undiscovered location that I was going for, which turned out to be a survivor camp. And there I talked to this peasant who said she saw a terrible battle near Kuta Farmstead. And I decided to get there, marking the new rumor destination on my map.
On my way to the Kuta Farmstead, I was stopped noticing some Mongols torturing a peasant around Kuta Grasslands. I watched from a distance as the armored soldiers harassed the helpless captive in the open field.
I decided to help that peasant, so I started attacking those Mongols right away. I took them all down, parried their incoming attacks and retaliated with counter-slashes to scatter the squad.
When I was done taking care of the Mongols, I rescued the peasant by untying the rough ropes around his wrists and he handed over a small bundle of supplies in deep gratitude for saving his life.
