Searching for Yukio, I fought through Mongols in a multi-story building to rescue him and a hostage. Escorting them toward the forge, I defended fleeing peasants from brutes and archers, reunited Yukio with his actual wife, and cut down a three-man patrol with a flawless standoff streak.

Leaving Yuna behind to secure the area, I set out on foot through the village to locate Yukio. Reaching the multi-story building where he was being held, I immediately engaged the Mongol guards stationed outside.

After clearing out the guard on the ground floor, I climbed the wooden stairs to the upper level, and found Yukio held hostage alongside a woman.

Before I could free them, a Mongol spearman rushed into the room and blew his war horn to raise the alarm. Fortunately, no reinforcements arrived, allowing me to strike down the spearman without interference.

With the room clear, I untied Yukio and Jin told him that Taka needed help at the forge. As we stepped outside to move toward the objective, a lone Mongol blocked our path.

I triggered a standoff and cut the warrior down instantly, though no other enemies step up to extend the strike.

Pushing forward, I spotted another group of Mongols rushing toward a gathering of helpless peasants. Asking Yukio to stay back, I sprinted into the middle of the courtyard to draw their attention.

The engagement turned chaotic as I traded blows with a heavy brute while another guard broke off to chase down fleeing survivors. I had to abandon my guard to intercept the runner before he reached the peasants, all while dodging a steady rain of arrows from a nearby archer.

I turned my focus to the archer, cutting him down to clear the air, then eliminated the remaining guards. Once the courtyard was safe, I spoke with the peasants, who thanked Jin for saving their lives.

The group fell in behind me as we resumed our trip toward the forge. Further down the path, three Mongol warriors stepped out from between the buildings to block the road.

I initiated a standoff, timing my strikes perfectly to cut down all three enemies in a rapid standoff streak. As the last body hit the dirt, even more Mongols moved in to engage us.
