So this time around I was in Brunei to witness the Hasanal Bolkiah Trophy aka HBT football tournament hosted by Brunei Darussalam. It was held in Brunei at the Hasanal Bolkiah National Stadium and a few others stadium such as Belapan dan Padang. It was my first time being in a stadium and its full of Bruneian supporters. It was one of the prestigous competition for South East Asia country on an amature level. The competition was held every 2 years knowing that the previous champions were Thailand back in 2016.

I was watching Brunei go against Myanmmar a deciding game for Brunei to go through to the semifinals if they happen to win the game tonight. Guess what, to my surprise I didn't have to pay a single cent to enter the stadium and watched the game.

As I entered the stadium I was surprised to see the amount of supporters came to watch the game it was almost full. The chants and the drums beats from the Bruneian supports were really amazing. I managed to get to see the match right in the middle of the grandstand where the view from there was spectacular as I was at Gate no.11 so if you guys happen to be in Brunei to watch a football game I can recommend you to be at Gate no.11.

During the game Myanmmar were leading 1-0. It was a very interesting game where Brunei players were attacking and making alot of chances but sadly they couldn't finish.

The score line was 1-0 until the end of the game meaning that Myanmmar had gone through to the semifinal.

At the end of the HBT competition it was Timor Leste were crown champion. It was their first major thropy congratulations Timor Leste on your achievement.
