We had driven over to visit the Little Man's Grandmother - which is always a good afternoon's entertainment...
She has a lot of the toys that he likes and her back yard is set up just for him, with outdoor toys and a bike propped up and ready to go.
After lunch he was pulling out the Duplo and watching an episode of "Dora the Explorer" at the same time. A friend of hers had dropped by quickly and brought a special toy for him:
They are finger puppets.
Whether it is normally Duplo, or little plastic cups or anything else this little man can think of; there is often something is being dangled from his fingers. It is presumed that he is working the fine motor skills and has become OCD with finger toys in the process. So, my Mum's best friend was told about this and is looking to turn this activity into a creative form of play.
I love them! They are big enough that he can chew them without swallowing anything and they inspire creativity and role playing. When I see her again there will be another big "Thank you" :)
