They had been walking for a number of hours in flat lands, the bushes had worn away to shrubs. In the distance they saw an old shed and decided to check it out just for something to do.
Inside this old wooded shed, they found all sorts of things - not just cobwebs.
"Take a look at this Mike - photos that are old and crusty." They showed groups of young boys in uniform.
"Oh my God - they're scouts - this used to be a Scout Hall!"
"How the hell could that be? No one lives near here for miles."
They kept looking around and found any number of old badges and medals, tools and a couple of stools. Everything had to be dusted off and spiders removed. It hadn't been touched for a long, long time and all of the photos were very old - from the early 1900's.
"Who's in there?!!!"
They heard an old bloke yelling from the outside and went out to see.
"Sorry if this belongs to you and we weren't supposed to go in. We were out walking and came across it."
"It's private property and no one disturbs that place"
"Why not?" The young girl, Sally was curious to know: "There is a lot of precious scout memorabilia in here that could be shared! It's really old!"
"He looked at her. "That is from a long, long time ago, when this area used to be populated from nearby farms that don't exist no more. People moved away and the scout Hall was abandoned."
"Why?"
"Testy girl now aren't you - always asking questions. Well, one evening, a number of those there scouts got together to work for one of their badges. They disappeared. Their bodies never found and the families just didn't want to stay around after that. This hall is considered haunted and left alone and the whole area has been left for the boys to walk the fields."
Suddenly, Mike and Sally didn't want to hang around and decided to pick up and leave. They didn't want to be the ones to disturb the old Scout Hall...
