Today is a very busy day and it felt like the rain poured down all morning and afternoon. And inconveniently, for me, who's waiting for it to calm down, the rain decided to pause after dark. I just got busy at home, moving here and there with daily activities and projects.
Being an introvert, who works and spends most of her time indoors (and enjoys it), I knew the value of alone time: it gives you a sense of peace, a time to reconnect with self, to learn, and to be free to do the things that you want.
Having said that, nowadays, I also look forward to walking outside (thanks to actifit). I've forgotten how nice it felt to be with nature; the opportunity to have a small chat with new neighbors and friendly strangers. It's refreshing to have a change in pace, to see how events unfold, an unprecedented environment you cannot control.
Seeing things we don't usually see, allows us to view things in that perspective, to see the entirety of things, allowing us to learn and grow.
