Hello Gods Unchained Fans,
I return this week after a break and it is good to be back. Initially I went back to my Anubian deck but it was feeling abit weak so I have bought Neferu, Champion of Death but will play that and make a report next week.
This week I have taken the Light Aggro deck suggested by KStreet and adapted it a little, including adding the unstoppable Sern, The Moderator who gives a very nice draw a card buff when a monster is healed.
I also added some extra order power with Inquisitar Informant in case I run up against something tricky that I can't remove straight away. This deck has no removal, it is pure aggro. I also added another Emyprean Pacifist, although I am now doubting whether that is so useful and may swap one out for something else, maybe Call of the Light or Holy Writ spell?
I made a couple other small changes too, but here is how the deck looks now:
I do have another light aggro deck that I use, but this one is good fun and it was great going back into the light.

In this week's battle, I give some light aggro!
I play second and start with Emyprean and Athenian Archer.
My opponent, also playing light, answers with a strong Partene Shieldmate. I throw everything I've got out there!
My opponent brings out the Field Nurse and heals his Pertene Shieldmate. I use my Thaeric Extortionist to take out the nurse!! I don't have enough power to remove Parthene though.
My opponent brings out his Thaeric too! Time for Sern! Can he save the day?
My opponent plays the Ecudos spell. I have no strength on my side. I fill the b oard as best I can.
My opponent heals Parthene which draws me a card. Otherwise, it is up to me to attack. Sadly no spells to buff my team come up.
I finally draw chaining of the gods and buff everyone, including those who are defbuffed! Finally we can start to attack his god. 15 god strength removed already. It's pretty much all over.
This Light Deck gives a lot of aggro and so far I have managed to do well except against some stubborn war decks that can out-aggro me with lots of clear spells and some strong low mana cards.
The win ratio is so far around 50%, but it is still early days and you can see that I have taken out some expensive control magic decks, but these are still a pain to play.
As I was away, I didn't play the weekend ranking last weekend, but will be playing this weekend with this light aggro deck and see how it gets on. I am almost at Auric Gold, so it will be a challenge for sure. Hopefully I can pick up some MJ Rare packs.
Since my last update, I have now reached level 219(+5) and have 64(+0) shadow cards and 392(+2) meteorite cards. My collection value has increased and is worth 3059 (2502) GODS tokens and value in fiat of $544 ($438). Let's see how the value will hold up as we enter the bull market.
