Hey Guys! So here is another ranked match for me. My enemy was WEATHERLOVE again and had a mana cap of 43. This is an opponent I have been battling with for quite some time. I feel like we are often paired together in ranked matches. I opted to use my fire element again. The modifier used in this match was Holy Protection. I had to think about what cards to play as all cards would have increased protection.

My first card was Jolius Blast. This is a card that uses a large amount of mana so not always get to play this card. As I had 43 mana to use I wanted to use this card. I wanted a strong card in my front line.
Next, I played Frankarsgard. This card I used in some of my previous matches. Then I used Chaos Furybringer. I thought this would be a useful card to have in my deck. After this I played Vengeful Monk. This is a card I have been using quite a lot recently. Finally I played Grand Consul Minion. I decided to play 5 cards this match.
I noticed my enemy had was using a different element and had a strong deck. As I have been battling this opponent for a while I was interested to see how this match would go. Even though I have battled them before I can’t be sure what cards they will play.
All cards had Divine Shield due to the Holy Protection modifier. This meant my cards would also have increased protection. My opponent had some strong cards with high health and armour. Their first card looked like it would be able to take a few hits. I was relying on Jolius Blast to be my front line. I don’t always play this card due to it’s high mana cost but when I do have enough mana to play this card I enjoy using it.
During the match I was looking at how my cards were doing. I was interested to see how Jolius Blast was doing as I had put this in my first card position. As my opponent had one more card than me I wasn’t fully sure if my deck would be strong enough. But I felt like I had some strong cards that would help me.
Something I found interesting was that I was battling the same enemy again. There are a lot of players in splinterlands but for some reason I am often put up against WEATHERLOVE. I don’t mind this too much as all the matches can be different depending on what cards and ruleset they are using. This time I wanted to see if my fire deck would help me beat them.
I won this match. I was glad that my 5 cards were strong enough to beat my enemy's 6 cards. I earned +20 to my rating and 87 Glint. I am still in Division 8 but I’m getting closer to moving up by winning. I was glad that I chose to use Jolius Blast in my first card position. It was nice to win another battle using my fire element.
Future
I keep losing matches but I think I can improve my rating by winning more ranked matches. I wonder if I will be up against WEATHERLOVE again as I’ve been up against him quite a lot. Overall I enjoyed this match and hope my next one will be a win.
