This is my post for #freewriters 2155 Saturday prompt rainbow hosted by 
I took this picture 5 years ago with my cell phone phone as I passed the Main Street boat ramp, it is the dock on the left side of the picture. The water and land in the foreground of this photo do not exist, could it be another world that we do not see and I captured it in a photo? I don't think it is a double exposure because wouldn't the shorelines look the same? Maybe it is what the shoreline in my town will look like in the future.
There is not one rainbow in this future sky but 3 rainbows. One of my rods is doubled but not the other rod and why are they lying sideways, they should be straight up in the air. There is a tall tree on both shores with the same white thing on the left side of them but they are not in the same place, nothing lines up. Why are the rainbows all different? Why WHY WHY I do not get it.
This picture has always puzzled me and I wonder why I took it. Behind the bottom shoreline, there should be a road and a red light, not water and where did all of those buildings come from? And what is with the very long dock with boat houses on the right, in the bottom shoreline it is a short dock and no boat houses.
I liked the idea that it could have been a future world or another dimension but my husband burst my bubble. He says it is just a double exposure. He says the Mainstreet dock is not in the foreground shoreline, and the long dock on the right is not in the bottom shoreline. He says if you line up the big tree it will slide the bottom shoreline to the left making the Main Street dock go out of the picture and it will bring in the long dock that is in the top picture which is the dock just before Earl's Bar. But he has no clue as to why my rods are lying sideways or why the picture came out like this.
I always get excited when I see a double rainbow, I know they are not some sort of double exposure because I can see it with my own eyes before I take the picture.
