A widespread Alpine member of section Auricula.
This plant has got a maximum height of approximatly 10 centimetres. The Primula latifolia (is also known as Primula) is evergreen.
Leaves:
- usually toothed towards the apex, fleshy, viscid and fragrant with glandular hairs;
- 3-18cm long;
- 1-5cm wide;
- oblanceolate to obovate.
