Iris pumila, known as pygmy iris or dwarf iris.
Iris pumila is distinguished by single blooms held 10–20 cm above ground level on a lengthened perianth tube, with the ovary almost resting on the rhizome on a very short stem.
Iris pumila is protected by two spathes, both of which are round in cross-section.
Flower color : yellow and purple or violet are the most common, but blue, cream, white, and blended colors are also frequently found. Most forms have a darker spot on the falls.

Дребна перуника - МИНИ ИРИС
Многогодишно тревисто растение, разновидност-джудже, което не достига по-голяма височина от 15-20см. Стъблото е ниско и е скрито в листата.
Ирис пумила се отличава с единични цъфтежи (рядко два цвята).
Листата са й са до 10 см дълги - сивозелени, широко линейни. Прицветниците са тревисти, гръбно заоблени.
Цветовете на дребната перуника са лилави или жълти. Цъфти през месеците април-май.
Растението е отровно!
