My Actifit Report Card: October 7 2026| An October in White!
The seasonal transition in this Himalayan valley comes with very subtle changes. This October, I could see changes in many flowers. After the valley was covered in the yellow flowers of vines like pumpkin and other small vines, now there are whites everywhere! Delicate, soft and pretty white flowers!
And once you start to notice one colour, it is hard to miss them!
So, today I went to document these October white flowers around me, and it was a really pretty sight!
I told you I recently shifted to this new place, right? The grass is overgrown in so many places, especially in front of our house. So, I was about to clear the places in the front, and I noticed something. It was not just grass.
There was radish and some other bean or lentil. Thank God I was a bit careful before destroying it all!
I personally have no idea what to do with radish, but that’s why we have all the online resources, right! So, instead of cutting them down, I decided to keep them. Harvested a few but left a lot of them on the ground.
The next on this white flower hunt was this vine that climbs on many apple trees these days. They decorate the drying trees with their pretty, pretty flowers!
Then comes this starry flower. It looks like snowflakes and sometimes like a fairy’s breath! They are spread everywhere in the valley, and I always try to make a bouquet out of them. But they wilt so fast after separating from the plant.
Then there are these very common, cute white ones. I love how densely these flowers are arranged and look so good from a distance. It’s a cluster of many tiny flowers!
Then come these delicate ones with a stroke of violet in them. They're also spread across the place.
Well, the truth is, in some time the valley is going to turn its colours. This green valley becomes brown, and then the bright fall colours show up!
But right now, we have other pretty colours also showing up, such as these tender leaves of apricot trees!
It is not just these flowers and the colours that are changing, but the whole mood of the place is changing with gloomy skies. Today, it felt like a rainy day, with the sun hidden behind the clouds for most of the day.
These subtle changes make me excited for the Fall of this year!
