Assembly of Ants

We're Going to Change the World and Do It the Right Way

Why you should care.

No Government, law or wealthy individual will bring about the changes so obviously needed. You should care because humanity depends on it – you depend on it. Everywhere you look in the world, regardless of age, race, education, intelligence, gender or country you’ll find one thing in common: Struggle. WHY? Somewhere along the way it became acceptable to prey on the little guys, prey on US. The young are shackled with student debt, unpaid internships, contract work, no health insurance. The old are laid off or fired in the name of profits. The job market for many of them is dismal, their plans of retirement after a lifelong of work are gone in an instant.
Doing the right thing and treating people equitably was surrendered for the profits of a few. We clung to a belief that this imbalance would tip in our favor when we too became successful. While the masses suffered, cried, sacrificed, worked, studied, were abandoned and even lost hope in the pursuit of this illusion, a small number of people made millions. How much money is too much? Could your conscience allow you to have millions more than you could ever spend when millions had none? Are you willing to watch humanity bleed itself dry and not even try to do something, anything?
We’re faced with a sobering reality that we were deceived. We are tiny ants to them – disposable and weak. If you have not yet been tossed aside, you know it’s just a matter of time. For those that do find success, they quickly forget our struggles. Most willingly embrace the very practices that once held them down. Worst of all we accepted this system to continue while watching those around us losing their homes, jobs and dignity. WHY? We’re forced to stay in this cycle because there are no better alternatives – Until now.
As ants we have one thing they can never take away – numbers.

Quote “We are poor. Never stop and forget that collectively, that means all of us together, collectively we are richer than all the nations in the world” – Dr. Martin Luther King

How do we start?

We start with community and knowledge. For those of us with knowledge – share it with those that need it the most. Our app is designed to encapsulate the wisdom and lessons that would otherwise be shared with a small number of people or worse, lost forever. There is no limit on how much you can learn or share. We grow by growing each other.
Don’t underestimate the importance of your own wisdom, especially if it’s not applicable to most people. For example, I know how to sandblast gravestones and the tricks that come with that craft. While most of our community will never find such information useful – someone like my own father would have greatly appreciated this information. He would have struggled a little bit less. Which is the very essence of our community.
For those of us needing a mentor – look no further. If you’re unable to find this information, but later acquire it – help the next by adding it here. We ask only that you give back more than you’ve received. If you’re young and think you lack the wisdom to help others, think again. Your mastery of technology is something highly valued by those that did not grow up with that technology.
When you contribute to our community, the impact of your wisdom is limitless. It becomes your legacy and gift to the world. We invite you to leave your mark and do so with the knowledge that you’ve changed the world.

Once our community is large enough, what next?

Our core goal is to provide an online hub for entrepreneurs and independent contractors to find resources to start or further their business as well as a FREE marketplace for contractors to find or sell their skills. We have no interest in profiting off of another’s struggles. The services available here are for entrepreneurial services and NOT job postings (ex. Website building, video editing, speech writing, design tasks, simple legal documents, etc.) We recognize the difficulty, time and costs associated with finding people in need of one’s services. For this reason, we strive to provide this marketplace without any fees or subscriptions for it’s general use. In the future, we may offer premium services for a modest fee.
This is not and will never be a place for corporate jobs or recruiters. Rather, it is a place for community members to find and offer entrepreneurial services on a task level basis. This service will be funded through ad revenues from our mentoring application and Steem.

How can MyEntrepreNewer compete with powerful corporations? Won’t they just crush us?

The founders of MyEntrepreNewer took great care to address this issue. For one, our services are unique from most of these companies. However, for those competing with us, they’d have to compete against free. Now, they certainly can do that for some time, but in doing so would have to admit that its former prices were predatory in nature and demonstrate that they’re only willing to “do the right thing” to prevent the “little guy” (you) from having this service available in the future. If they manage to eliminate us, they have no incentive to do the right thing. We on the other hand, choose the right thing because, frankly, it’s the right thing. No one forced us to do what ought to be done. They fooled us once – we welcome them to think we’ll fall for it again.
In addition to this, the business is owned equally by its founding members and will always remain 100% in the hands of the people that started the company and believe in its vision. Outside investment is prohibited and all financial documents will be made available for everyone to see.
We say the above openly to any companies considering such things with ill intent. We do so as a courtesy and a warning. In addition to the above, the founders have several options available to them if the circumstances arise. Rest assured, we are fully prepared for any company wishing to compete with us and invite them to do so if they put the best interest of the community first.
