Researchers say that if the daily calorie intake reduces by 15 percent for two years, the human digestive process is slow. This reduces the energy of the body and reduces oxidative stress. Basically the cells are destroyed through the process of oxidative stress. And this slow digestive action and oxidative stress reduction is helpful in reducing the risk of various senescent diseases like diabetes.
Researchers tested the effects of calories on 53 adults. They were first divided into two groups. A group is allowed to accept normal calorie intake, and researchers specify calorie intake levels for the other group.
Two years later they were presented in the laboratory. It is seen, those who have taken less calories have lost weight by an average of 20 pounds. Besides, they spend less than 80 to 120 calories a day compared to normal.
According to researchers, because of the slow digestion, they are able to spend calories in a more efficient manner than others. As well as their oxidative stress rate has decreased.
Researchers say that taking low calorie intake has reduced the risk of disease and disease among people, it is true, but the information obtained in just two years is not enough to reach the decision. More research is needed in the future.
Researchers from the Biomedical Research Center of the Louisiana State University of the United States conducted research on the relation of human life with calorie intake. Journal 'Science Direct' publishes a paper entitled 'Cell Metanolism'.
