So, if you guys already try the games on StakeHouseDen, you will find that you are betting with the things that looks like a sauce bottle, it's the hotsauce.
Hotsauce works like the fuel on Moonkarts or Energy on Splinterlands, so you need them to play the game, and on the StakeHouseDen, they are work as the bet, which will define how much you will earn after each win ✅
As it's still on the trial, hotsauce are given everyday for us to try the game for as much as we like (didn't think someone could make it 0). But, after it's officially launch, you need to generate your own hotsauce (or probably you can buy them from other players just like fuel as well).
Now how we generate them ?
Based on their whitepaper on https://splinterlands.gitbook.io/stakehouse-den-whitepaper/hot-sauce, "Hot Sauce can be generated by staking both cards and script. The generation rate will depend on card level, rarity and foil. Higher level cards, higher rarity and gold foil generate more hot sauce than lower level cards, lower rarity and regular foil cards, respectively.
Hot Sauce Generated = Merge Count x Generation Factor for the Card"
So, it works just like the fuel generation on Moonkarts, where we need 2 script to unlock the staking slot, and then cards for generating the fuel (will be hot sauce on StakeHouseDen).
Now let's see the factors, for the regular foil, common will start at 1 and will increased by 0.1 for each upgrade. Rare will start at 2 and will increase by 0.5 on each upgrade, epic is start at 2 and will increase by 2 points except for the 2nd level which only increase by 1 point. And for legendary, it will start at 2 as well, then increase by 10 points except the 2nd level that only have 8 sauce addition to make it 10. Here is the full table
The gold foil will give more hotsauce, and the full details is on the table below
So, now we know that card is matter for generate the hotsauce, and the script is important to open the staking slot. Do you have both of them already ?
