Da es gerade sonst nichts zu berichten gibt, widme ich mich halt wieder dem, unser aller Lieblingsthema, das Virus.
Eins muss man dem mordenden Kerlchen ja lassen, es ist ein Segen für die schreibenden Autoren unter uns.
Eine unendliche Geschichte, bestehend aus Leid, Verzweiflung, Angst, der Panik, Hoffnung, versuchter Aufklärung, aber auch des Kuriosen, Verwirrenden, Tragischen und unglaublich Dämlich, wie Gefährlichen, wie auch ausgesprochen Lustigen, wurde von uns in den letzten Monaten erzählt. Der Stoff geht nicht aus und das wird wohl noch eine Weile so bleiben.
Ich danke dir dafür Covid19 und auch all deinen Geschwistern.

An endless story of suffering, fear, panic, but also of the curious, confusing, tragic, and incredibly stupid, as dangerous and downright funny, is told by us in recent months. The material does not run out and this will probably remain so for a while.

Gestern zum Beispiel passierte mir folgendes.
Als ich aus dem kleinen Tante Emma Laden trat, mir die Maske aus dem Gesicht riss und glücklich auf mein neu entdecktes Bier schaute welches ich dort kaufte, vernahm ich einen entsetzten Aufschrei.
Erst hier bemerkte ich die schon etwas ältere Dame vor mir, welche mich mit weit aufgerissenen Augen anstarrte und sich mit einem Arm das Gesicht bedeckte und mit dem anderen hektisch in ihrer Handtasche wühlte, um, wie ich gleich sehen sollte, ihre Maske herauszuholen, sich von mir abwendete und sich das Teil überstülpte.
Auf meine Frage ob ich denn so krank aussehe, das sie bei meinem Anblick gleich in Panik gerät, schnauzte die Gute mich nur an, das ich aus dem Weg gehen solle und ihr nicht den Eingang versperre.
Ich gehorchte und zog kopfschüttelnd von dannen.
Yesterday, for example, the following happened to me.
When I stepped out of the small corner store, tore the mask from my face, and looked happily at my newly discovered beer which I bought there, I heard a horrified outcry.
Only here I noticed the already somewhat older lady, who stared at me with wide-open eyes and covered her face with one arm and rummaged frantically in her handbag with the other, in order to get out her mask, as I should see shortly, turned away from me and put the part over herself.
On my question whether I look so sick that she panics at the sight of me, the lady only snapped at me that I should get out of the way and not block her entrance.
I obeyed and went away shaking my head.

Hier vollziehe ich nun einen Kurswechsel und anstatt mich weiter über den kursierenden Irrsinn zu ereifern, berichte ich lieber von wichtigeren Dingen, wie zum Beispiel dem Bier welches ich in der Hand hielt und setze mich auch diese Woche wieder an den Stammtisch vom 
Auch hier scheinen wir es mit einer unendlichen Geschichte zu tun zu haben, die aber deutlich mehr Spaß macht als sich ein Stäbchen in die Nase zu rammen, sich der Nadel auszuliefern, oder über seltsame Mitbürger zu wundern.

Eine meiner portugiesischen Lieblingsbrauereien, die FABRICA MUSA hat ein neues, musikalisches Bier auf den Markt gebracht, das BALTIC SABBATH.
Wie ich gerade entdecke ist dieses Bier keineswegs neu, sondern das Erstlingswerk der sympathischen Brauer, welches aber erst jetzt meinen Weg streifte.
Zum Verzehr wird natürlich empfohlen, vorher eine Black Sabbath CD aufzulegen. Ich versuche es aber mal ohne deren harten Rhythmen.
One of my favorite Portuguese breweries, the FABRICA MUSA has launched a new, musical beer, the BALTIC SABBATH.
As I am just discovering, this beer is not new at all, but the first work of the sympathetic brewers, which, however, only now grazed my path.
For consumption, it is of course recommended to put on a Black Sabbath CD beforehand. I try it however times without their hard rhythms.
Dieses Baltic Porter Bier mit seinen 7,9% Alc/Vol präsentiert sich, wie für diese Art üblich, im sehr dunklen Gewand.
Es steht ihm ausgezeichnet wie ich finde und auch die freigesetzten Aromen welche nun die Luft verwirbeln, lassen auf etwas ganz Feines hoffen.
This Baltic Porter beer with its 7.9% Alc/Vol presents itself, as usual for this type, in a very dark guise.
It suits it excellently as I find and also the released aromas which now swirl the air, let me hope for something very fine.
Oh ja, da schlägt das Herz des Biertrinkers höher. Ich habe auch nichts anderes erwartet von diesen Meistern der alternativen Braukunst. Irgendwie schaffen es die Herrschaften immer wieder, mich ans Bierglas zurück zu holen und zu Lobeshymnen anzusetzen.
Fast war ich geneigt Ihnen zu Ehren eine schwarze Messe zu zelebrieren, was aber daran scheiterte, das mir die nötigen Utensilien dafür fehlten und ich mich mit so etwas gar nicht auskenne.
Dann vielleicht lieber einen heiligen Altar errichten!?
Auch hier musste ich erst passen, findet man in meinem Haushalt ja nicht einmal ein Kruzifix.
Doch dann kam mein Liebchen zur Hilfe und überreichte mir eine, von ihrem Großvater ( R.I.P. ) handgeschnitzte Madonna Figur und ein schützendes Engelchen im Bilderrahmen.
Oh yes, the heart of the beer drinker beats faster. I expected nothing else from these masters of the alternative brewing art. Somehow, they always manage to get me back to the beer glass and start singing their praises.
I was almost inclined to celebrate a black mass in their honor, but that failed because I lacked the necessary utensils and I do not know anything about such things.
Then perhaps rather a holy altar erect!?
Also here I had to pass first, one finds in my household, not even a crucifix.
But then my sweetheart came to the rescue and presented me with a hand-carved Madonna figure by her grandfather ( R.I.P. ) and a protective angel in a picture frame.
Solch Aufwand haben sich die Brauer verdient.
Einmal mehr erfreuten sie mich mit einem außergewöhnlich schmackhaften Bier.
Es fällt mir schwer die Begeisterung in Worte zu fassen, denn sowohl die kräftige, extrem runde Note des Hopfens, die im Einklang mit Frucht, Malz und tatsächlich Schokoladenaromen, den Gaumen streift, ohne für Verwirrung zu sorgen, sondern eine liebliche Geschmacksexplosion im Munde auslöst, die einem die Freudentränen in die Augen treibt und man schreien möchte „ gib mir mehr davon „ findet man nicht alle Tage.
Auch tut der verhältnismäßig hohe Alkoholgehalt der Freude keinen Abbruch, das Bierchen läuft leicht bekömmlich herunter und gerne würde ich noch eins nachlegen. Vielleicht auch noch ein anderes obendrauf.
Leider hatte ich aber nur ein Fläschchen zur Hand, was sich aber bald ändern wird.
Such effort the brewers have earned.
Once again they delighted me with an exceptionally tasty beer.
It is difficult for me to put the enthusiasm into words because both the strong, extremely round note of the hops, which in harmony with the fruit, malt, and actually chocolate flavors, grazes the palate without causing confusion, but triggers a lovely taste explosion in the mouth, which brings tears of joy to your eyes and you want to scream " give me more of it " is not found every day.
Also, the relatively high alcohol content does not detract from the joy, the beer runs down easily digestible and gladly I would add another one. Maybe another on top.
Unfortunately, I only had one bottle at hand, but that will soon change.
FAZIT: Ein revolutionäres Bier, wie man es nur selten findet, anders, schmackhaft, gut und ein Faustschlag ins Gesicht der kommerziellen Langweiler Brauereien.
Wahre Braukunst, die ihres gleichen sucht.
Absolut empfehlenswert und jeden Cent wert.

CONCLUSION: A revolutionary beer, as it is rarely found, different, tasty, good, and a punch in the face of commercial bores breweries.
True brewing art, which seeks its equal.
