Mount Sinabung

Mount Sinabung in Karo, North Sumatra, erupted on Monday (19/2/2018) at 08.53.

The panic had appeared in the middle of the people who live around Mt Sinabung.

   3 the fact the eruption of Mount Sinabung:

1. The eruption of kilometers
   • Pop as high as 5 km is pressurized and grey, long time, explosive eruption 607 seconds. The eruption also accompanied by a thunderous sound.

The explosion accompanied by hot air as far as 4, 9 km to the south and southeast as well as 3, 5 km to the southeast and east. The wind blows to the west and south.

1. The dust showered the five district
   • Volcanic ash blanketed some areas around Mt Sinabung, including the Simpang Empat, Naman Teran, Umbrella, Three Nderket and Munthe.

The five subdistricts, it becomes dark with visibility about 5 feet.

1. There were no casualties
   • There were no casualties from the eruption. The reason, the rest of the area which is the red zone has been vacated.

Some residents also have been taken for a moment to anticipate the worst possibility. But in the afternoon, the activity of villagers had returned to normal. The residents is considered to be used to looking at the eruption of Mount Sinabung.
