Berlin is such a historical city that I have always wanted to go visit. In fact, the reason we picked this 9-day 7-capital Europe cruise, is because it includes both St. Petersburg and Berlin, two of the most attractive cities in the world we'd like to visit in our life time. On 5/17, the 1st whole day of our cruise trip, we visited Berlin. Even though we had only 6 hours in Berlin, it was enough for all what we wanted to see. In fact, Berlin is famous for its WWII history, but really not much else. 6 hours were more than enough to get a sense of what and where the things had happened, and that is sufficient enough for us to cross the Berlin out of our MUST SEE list.

This is holocaust memorial site, where hundreds of casket-like stones were built to symbolize the death of numerous jews. Today, a new bride is dressing in wedding gown to take picture on the memorial stones, symbolizing the new and peaceful life mankind is pursuing forever.
