Pegasus will start to use a sub-structure that will serve with Blockchain technology. Pegasus Airlines digitized its operational processes with the Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, where most of its flights were carried out, with BlockChain, the basis of Bitcoin.
According to the company statement, this integration study which will serve over the "BlockChain" infrastructure which is one of the important technology trends of this year, which is also the basis of Bitcoin, makes flight definitions and updates on Pegasus Flight Control System instantly available at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport Operation Control Center (OCC). Any information will instantly fall on the employees' screens.
Also, Operational information such as door numbers, luggage band, bellows usage of the flight will also be instantly transferred to the Pegasus systems via the same BlockChain infrastructure.
