Every country has its own speciality, especially in food. We often called it delicacy so it will be easy for us to recognise that place. Let's see for example "kalamay", this kind of food is popular in Bohol. So if someone will go to Bohol there are people who will ask to buy "kalamay" from that place or region because it's delicious. That's their delicacy or food speciality after all.
Now "suman" can be found in a different part of the provinces in the Philippines. You can also found this food in the city like Manila or Cebu City. However, the taste of it is different. When we said speciality, of course, the place is popular with that food. You may find this kind in a different place but the delicious one can only be found in that certain place.
By the way, this kind of food is snacks food. It was made from a special type of rice, sticky rice. The process of cooking was like boiling normal rice. The only differs is the ingredients in boiling it. Ginger wAs the only ingredients to put because it doesn't need to be sweet.
When the rice is already cooked. It will be wrapped with the laves of banana. They used the leaves of banana because the leaves will not be dissolved easily. Also, it gives smell good from the food. When the wrapping is complete it will now ready to sell.
The delicious "suman" usually find in the province. Vendors used to sell it in their Brgy. so the buyers will easy to find them. They will pair with coffee or any other types of drink that your stomach will give warm in the morning. This is not expensive and by having this one can make your stomach full already. But because it's delicious many people can eat 2 to 3 suman.
