We don't know when or where; Our stomach wouldn't tell what time it will be hungry. All we know is that when the time comes that we will be hungry we should eat food. Since we are not sure, we don't prepare food that we bring all the time. That's why food in the street is very helpful to everyone in time of immediate need.
Most people think that food in the street or the most common name they are called is street food is dirty. In the Philippines, you can see vendors selling food on the street in a place along the street where it's crowded. Of course, an obvious reason is the exposure, so that a lot of people will learn that there is food in that area.
It's because along the street, dust, bad odor and maybe the environment is full of garbage. However, even though street foods are prone to germs or dirt, there are still tidy vendors. There are some that are concerned about how their customers see them when cooking food and serving. I can relate, to tell you the truth, aside from having a small store I'm a street vendor myself selling street food. I'm sure those who have been following know about it.
Oh before that, hello @dswigle (Denise), hello #marketfriday-ers. I've always wanted to share posts about the market every Friday but time is always hectic and also, the available place doesn't require much money. Sorry to say this, but I want to share a place where I do not spend money if it's possible. I know it is hard to find those, that's why unlike before I can't participate in market Friday all the time even though I always wanted to be always.
It was earlier today, we went to the next city where we bought goods to sell. We traveled far to make sure the goods or the items to sell are not expensive so we can sell them at a lower price as well. Then all of a sudden we went outside to the first store that we entered and we got hungry. Of course, thrifting is always a must.
Instead of going to a fancy food restaurant or fast food establishments. We decided to order street foods along that street near the park. Luckily, there were not too many customers that time so right away we filled our stomach. Even though it was not expensive, the food was delicious.
We ordered 3 cups of food, worth 100 pesos or 2 dollars. By that we saved money and at the same time satisfied with the food that we ate. We're so thankful that we did not need to hurry in going home because of hunger. We spent more time buying goods after that snack because we believed that it would last for hours before getting hungry again.
