Today’s activity was entirely from walking. We left our friends’ place in Bellingen yesterday and drove south for over five hours. We wanted to stay in a town called Paterson in the Upper Hunter Valley which we’d heard good things about, but it got dark so we settled for the RV parking lot in Dungog about 20 minutes from Paterson. They had hot clean showers so it was OK. We drove to Paterson this morning and found a sweet park by the river that has no ‘No camping’ signs so we decided to set up camp. We spent part of the afternoon walking around town exploring the sights.
