Do you remember what it was like when you first learned about cryptocurrency? A bit confusing maybe? In my opinion, there isn't really a "first time" for anyone learning about cryptocurrency. It's not a one-time learning type of thing. I don't consider myself to be technologically inclined. I can't hack, I don't play video games (not to say I haven't tried to get into it), I don't understand much about computers and technology/how they work. I just know that I turn my computer, phone, or tablet on and I magically get to use the internet and social media sites. I think it's interesting, but for some reason I feel like it's not something I could ever understand fully. You know how there are some people who seem to know everything there is to know about computers, or formatting, or gaming, or whatever else? Yeah, I could never be one of those people simply because I would doubt myself too much to be honest.

So, now that you have a basic understanding of me and my level of technology adeptness (or lack of) I will share to you my first impressions of cryptocurrency.

.) Cool, seems like it could be easy money.
.) Bitcoin is $3,500?!.... Per coin?!?!?!
.) What the hell! Where was I in 2010 when it was at less than a penny?
.) I was in 10th grade, that's where I was.
.) OK, so there are other currencies that are still in infancy and seem to be really cheap. How do I invest in those?
.) Wait, why are there so many? Pizza coin? .................................................................................I'm listening.
.) It's sort of like the stock market then... except it's not.
.) I wonder if it's too late to become a part of this. Won't know unless I try I guess.
.) HOW THE HECK DO I INVEST MONEY INTO CRYPTO?! WHY IS IT SO HARD TO CONVERT DOLLARS TO ANYTHING (Still haven't figured this out by the way, so if anyone would like to help me on that it would be much appreciated by yours truly!)
.) *Le sigh.*
.) Steemit seems like a pretty gnarly site. And I do love blogging/writing.
.) People blog about anything and everything on here -  in one central location, similar to reddit, less annoying that Facebook, and I can potentially make money.
.) *Makes introduceyourself post* Cool! I made $4!

.) *Puts 5 hours into extremely informative second post. Makes $0*
Me:

.) So now here I am. My third post. In my first post I said I wanted to be in this for the long haul and that means not giving up when the times are hard! It will pay off, especially if this site takes off.
