There has been a few days with heavy smoke from British Columbia forest fires drifting in across the Rocky Mountains into my area. It is a serious situation there with over 600 fires burning throughout the province.
Fortunately there are no forest fires near here. Only the smoke persists here. The air quality index has been rated 10 + out of a scale of 10.
The hazy smoke has caused to skies to take on a redish colour.
