Robots don't do sport
"Yes, they do," said Robot 1. "It is fun and a chance to get some exercise."
"Shall we watch the Olympics?" said Robot 2
"Yes, why not. Is it on the TV?" asked Robot 1.
"Yes," said Robot 2. "But look out for empty seats. We may be able to make it."
"How?" asked Robot 1.
"I have ways."
Robot 2 projected the 3D surround TV
They noticed empty seats.
"Let's go," said Robot 1.
"Ok," said Robot 2.
Robot 2 put away his 3D surround TV. Instead, something else appeared. A door that glowed
"I've been working on this for ages," said Robot 2. "This is a portal that takes us wherever we want to go. In this case, table tennis at the Olympic games."
"Wow," said Robot 1.
Robot 1 went through the magic portal door.
Robot 2 followed.
"Where are we?" asked Robot 1.
"This is the place where they play table tennis. Look around, you can see the stand."
"Why is it empty?" asked Robot 1
"I don't know. We are in the right place?"
This was indeed an intriguing mystery.
"Right place, wrong time," said Robot 1.
"What did you say?" asked Robot 2.
"Right place, wrong time," reiterated Robot 1.
Robot 2 looked at his watch. He then looked at the big clock inside the arena
"Oh my days," said Robot 2. "We are in the right place. But the time is different. The clock up there is 3 hours behind."
Robot 2 continued.
"Eureka."
They hear a voice.
"Hello. You may want to take your seats. We're expecting a full house. First come, first served."
They sat comfortably.
All of a sudden, more portals started to open. Each bringing forth Robot after Robot. As each Robot entered the arena, they glanced at Robots 1 and 2 and gave them a nod of approval.
"Why are they looking at us?" asked Robot 1.
"That's a good question," replied Robot 2.
