It works! Is this the only app now to access hive on Android?
Anyways.. yet again im waiting 2 weeks on, to try get a ride to get things from the land. Its a 1 hour trip and km offering to pay people but they dont seem to want to work? Strange! Then complain theres no work nor money haha..
iguana blood with Pepsi anyone?
I was going to ask some people who helped me before if i could use a quad after asking everyone in the Village. One day this village and land story will be wrapped up, but at this rate it will take months to clear up and get rid of all the shit i brought for the houses to accomadate people from the projects forst attempt.
Just as i arrived at there house I saw they had a huge iguana, possible the biggest ive seen. Its a common food for locals in mexico and I was just told after pointing out thst they have hardly no Meat on them, that they put it in a soup with prawns and fish.
I took a video of it so these photos are screenshots. The video is properbly nfsw rated 15years + I will upload it when im on decent wifi )
So yeh, another thing I didnt know. I have another 2 hours until i should be able to get a ride up to get my personal belongings from the land. Im not a naive person, but i was naive to think id be able to get this all done within a few days haha..
Theres a mechanic in the village who could take the furnitures and my car in one time but he is busy, and we were booked to do it all on Saturday but then his mum got sick so he has gone and still isnt back. The main problem is ALL my things, including my metals, (the only measly asset i have left, which i need to sell to pay someone to move everthing), clothes, boots, and everything is still 10km from the village. Hopefully its all still there! I didnt expect my car to break again on the way to the village and for it to take forever to get back, and its sad to keep passing it whilst its sat in the mountains. Ive had several cars arranged and many attempts, no luck yet.
I hope to pay with silver, to go get my silver, and carry whatever else i can manage in a couple of hours, and then I will still be cashless and have to try get a ride. Hope it doesnt storm whilst all this happens!
I just got back from being invited to get food as someone asked if i had eaten today, and as i hadnt, and i got no cash, he took me to eat beans and tortillas
He is an alchy and had said he has been drinking for 4 days with no food or sleep lol.
Not much else to do in a mexican village if your a divorced man of 50. He has 2 kids in Florida and a sister there still. He says he was working everday but never able to save so he came back to México. I couldnt resist to tell him that that is the white privalage scam.
I dont get to finish off this post, so the story continúes!
It got to 9pm and nobody was there to give me a ride. I had to walk it, and have since found out its 12km each way, thought it was 10pm. I got to the entrance of the land and saw a car seat was missing, and then i knew there would be other things stolen too. I got to the building that had all my things in it and still furniture that i needed to sell, and sure enough the bbq grill qas gone too.
What i saw next though was quite unexpected..
the building had collapsed!
Also i could see a box of valuables that wasnt buried in mud, but all my tools had been stolen. It was midnight when i found all this out, and i havent seen it yet in the daytime. Everything else was crushed or covered with mud and adobe. I managed ti get some clothes and my other boot and it was so nice to get out of the surfing shoes finally.
I walked up to the ridge by 2am and rested contemplating when the rain would come from one of the 3 thunderstorms around me. After an hour, there was still no heavh rain. I had hoped to be wearing my jacket, some better trousers and not just a tshirt.
Luckily the many meters of silver fabric was not stolen, and i had my wooly hat to wear, because around 3.20am when i had started ti walk, i walked into one if the storms. It was ok at first for a few minutes, i was soaked through but thought id just keep on walking.. then it got so bad, i had no torch anyways and its new moon, i couldnt see anything and the sideways rain was painful and freezing cold.
Fuck this, i had to clima up the bank and crouch next to a tree to block the rain, and i managed to partly cover myself in the meter wide silver material. It was very insulative but not designed for waterproofing lol
At 5.20am, the storm had past. Everything drenched. I got to the village 2 hours later, it was daylight. Luckily someone had offered a cheap price for two bits of furniture so i sold them and got the bus back at 11am now i had some cash..
Today, i just managed to arrange to go get the car and take it to the mechanics. Tomorrow i hope the car is off the land and soon i get it back. I need to finish this post or it never ends!!
Hope everys luck is a millones times better than here!!
