Pain, sorrow and anguish

are all that come out of war
eventually, our brothers perish
east, west, south or north.
The cries of wars long gone
still echo loudly in the wind
should our children unborn
hear of this nation as a myth?
We can quarrel, we can argue
after all, we are different people
but we must find a common ground
lest Nigeria falls to rubble.
We are all Nigeria, everyone of us
without our cooperation, everything falls
Let us preach peace
Let us preach love
Let us make Nigeria
A home for all of us.
No war, no bloodshed
I speak peace to the troubled areas
God be with you, God be with us all
