War, starvation and suffering has been there all this time because it actually came because of sin. The Bible teaches that these conditions remind us of humanity's need for God and the consequences of turning away from His ways. Jesus foretold that there would be "wars and rumors of wars" and that famines would occur before His return, showing that such events are signs of the troubled condition of the world rather than God's desire for people to suffer.
The bible tells us to put our hope in God whenever we face hardship. God encourages His people to care for the hungry, comfort the afflicted, and pray for peace while trusting in His promise of a future where suffering will end.
