I always get excited about Amsterdam. I have been there thrice and always fell in love with it architecture, canals and open culture. As a tourist it can offer you plenty. It is among few cities in which I like to walk hours lurking the buildings and their architecture. If you are one of those who just want to wander in the city Amsterdam and Lisbon are the best cities.
