Pigeons are city dwellers. All the big cities are full of pigeons. I recently read that they are not loved by mayors because they are doing great damage. I didn't think about that.
For children and tourists, pigeons are just an attraction. The truth is that you enjoy when you see them eating from your hand.
Square in the middle of town is always full of pigeons. I like to sit on a bench and see people and pigeons.
Who are the best friends of the pigeons? Children, of course! Their greatest desire is to feed them.
The food certainly attracts the pigeon in these crowded places. They have become almost domestic birds. They are not afraid of people and this for two main reasons: people feed and protect them. Pigeons feel that.
I like it when people and birds are together in the same place, ignoring each other but still ready to interact at any time.
Regardless of the season we will find the pigeons there waiting to be fed.
