Making process of my beautiful fascinator headware for our choir music video recording. Come watch the beautiful music video we did.
Saturday was a remarkable day for me.It was my very first time recording a music video in the studio with my church choir.
I love music and have always wanted to do this. This came as a pleasant surprise for me when the choir coordinator announced that he will be taking us to the studio for a recording.
We practiced our song and memorized the lyrics in preparation for this big day.
Saturday afternoon came and we all proceeded to the studio for the recording.
Before then I had sewn this blouse and skirt we were given the fabric, I didn't even know that they would be used for this occasion. But the combination of the two different clothes all made sense, it came out quite prettier than I expected.
Now remaining the headwear since we wanted a recording with our head covered. We didn't want want to use scarf since that was old fashion..
We were then asked to make a white color matching fascinator headwear for ourselves.
I got the materials below and proceeded to see what I can create.
Here are the materials needed
Alice band
Shiny elastic fabric
Fascinator crinoline
Candle gum
To start with you pick your Alice band. Depending on the type purchases you can decide to wrap it round with any bias I'd your choice color.
Fold the fascinator crinoline in a semicircle that can cover ones head.
Create a rose of another of the crinoline.
Place all of these on the alic band and get them attached to it using a candle gum
The bias strip is then cut and placed on the top of the crinoline joining to cover any unclean finishings.
Everything now put together and a lovely head wear that matches my beautiful uniform was created
Now we proceeded to the studio first and did a cover of a song written by the senior pastor of our church.
Our state resident pastor also agreed to perform along side the choir. And here is the Facebook link of our music video.
