I am not a writer but sometimes things happen that we may not be able to bear it alone and so we pen 🖊 down our thoughts for the next generation to learn from.
A mother hen fell to the earth yesterday ( a close relative died)
and so many questions arose regarding her death as being untimely and as a result of so much carelessness and hard 👷 labor
Her story in brief
Mrs Ada was a wife and mother of 7 children married to a man who looked responsible at first. Being a total house wife with no education or a job she was dependent on her husbands income for her livelihood and catering for the kids as well. But a wife ought to be a help mate as it is usually said and just to feel a sense of responsibility she took her hoes and cutlass, started farming and bringing food on the table. This act should have been an added advantage if the budget meant for provisions where hence diverted into other profitable investment but reverse is the case of what happened.
The responsible husband withdrew his responsibility sensing that his wife is capable of taking care of the bills, even if it comes from hard labor 👷 it doesn't matter.
It got to a point that a father abandoned his wife and kids ( now young adults) and left to live another life in a distant land with no support or a reason no one can explain.
Mrs Ada now a mother and father toiled her life in the farm to provide for her kids and like a mother hen she is their all in all, every form of hard labor she was engaged in, a laborer at constriction sight, a farmer, and any hard work one can think of just to put food on the table.
- Mummy had ulcer yet she fasted and prayed for her kids
- Mummy had ulcer yet went to bed many night without food
- Mummy has hypertension yet the thought of her kids future was heavy in her heart
- Children misbehaved several times and go astray yet mummy loved them still..
The love of a mother can never be compare to any
She gave out her all but got very little in return. No pity or support from husband or relatives, no much care and attention from her very own kids, not even a picture of her on the wall for a memorial, Now that she is gone the family is all sad for everything they owe her, the neglect and lack of responsibility or support and the moments they missed that cannot be taken back. # What a pity
Its indeed a very sad story of a saint, a selfless and caring mother and indeed a great lesson to all of us
Take care of one another while we still can, a day lost without doing good can never be gotten back
Never let a day pass without showing love, and concern for the well being of your brethren
Cherish beautiful moments you share with your loved ones and family pictures are beautiful reminders
Beautiful moments may not last forever, make hay while the sun shines.
A live well spent is one that was lived taking care of others..
The smile on our faces are genuine and my siblings love folding up around me.
