I wonder why can’t we live in harmony?
You may be thinking why is he asking this question. The reason is very simple and that is the ongoing wars and conflicts throughout the world for one reason or another.

Look at the war in Afghanistan. Look at the war in Iraq. Look at the war in Syria. Look at the war in Yemen. Look at the war in Ukraine. Look at the hatred between communities based on religion, caste, color, creed, sect, and region etc.
The whole world is burning and we instead of finding ways to resolve our disputes aggravating the situation more. The reason for all this mess in my view is the upper echelon which has its own vested interests in these armed conflicts. Who buy all the weapons if there is no war going on? How would they get elected to higher posts when they don’t create fear in the public? So the reason is simple and that is “the economic interests of the industrial complex and political leaders in the war zones”. I live in Pakistan and I can see that we are always in a state of war with India and vice versa. The reason on both sides is the interest of the few which has made common people a hostage in the situation.
