I just checked my calendar and realized something that made me pause for a second, Half of the year is already gone.
Six months is gone, and it's remaining six ahead. I looked at the plan and goals I had for myself and honestly I wouldn't say I'm proud of how far I have gone with them. There are things I told myself I would start in January that I haven't even touched, just because I was waiting for the right time.
Maybe someone here can also relate At the beginning of the year everything feels possible, goals were created and deadlines were even set. And we even told ourselves that this will be the year things finally change, but let's be sincere, majority of the people that set this goals haven't done one quarter of those goals.
Though I realized that it's not actually our fault. Life happens, I mean we get busy with work, unforseen challenges showed up and before we realize it, June is here.
For many people the realization brought guilt, we start counting on things we haven't achieved forgetting how far we have come. The challenges we have conquered so far.
And also one thing they have held so many of us back is waiting for the perfect time. I have waited for the perfect time to write a project, the perfect time to start a YouTube channel, I just started today though 😆 the video goes live tomorrow, the perfect time to learn new skills, the perfect time to start a project, and all through this waiting, I have come to realize that there's no perfect time. It doesn't exist .
There's always a reason to postpone, One of the biggest lesson I have learned so far this year is that progress rarely begins with confidence. It begins with Movement. I just took a step to start my YouTube journey, I may not have the whole tools I need but I just needed to start. In life if you wait until you feel fearless, you may never begin.
