Today was one of those days that being a teacher could be exhausting. From teaching to marking of scripts to writing tests and to recording of scores. It's quite exhausting I must say. But I just love my job and it's just the passion I have for it that still makes me to continue. I'm very excited that weekend is almost here again and I will have to rest a little bit.
Today I taught about the Ancient towns in Nigeria, with emphasis on Calabar, gombe, ife and idah. These are among the ancient towns we have here in Nigeria.
Our emphasis were on these four ancient towns, as I picked them one after the other and explained explicitly to the learners understanding. I had previously taught them about four other ancient towns, as we progress we will keep picking them bits by bits.
After I decided to get a snack to ease the stress of teaching. I got bread and a yogurt to quench the hunger.
I finished my bite and continued with the day's tasks. At 2:00pm it was time to go home. We dismissed and everyone headed home. On my way home I went into the market to get somethings for cooking.
Yeah, this is the nearest local market in my street, one thing about the Nigerian local market is that buyers and sellers often know each other, and when one seller doesn't have a product, They will direct you to their friend to buy from. They build relationships there. I bought the few things I needed and headed home to rest. It wasn't one of those stress free day but it was quite a fulfilled day.
