Good day food lovers!!!!!
Most of my food blogs recipe are easy , quick and budgeted recipe which I always prepared on our table.
For today's blog I will be sharing again another quick and easy viand recipe.
Before I share the recipe let me share first my story on how I learned cooking.
Story time.....
I started learning to cooked when I was 8 years old,my mom taught me how to cooked rice and grilled a dried fish which we always had in our table back then.My mom taught me to prepared our meal coz when she left the house for selling vegetables ,I am the one who will take care of my younger siblings while our father is working in the field. And I am the one who will be preparing for our meals.
When I learned how to cooked rice ,I am the one who woke up early around 4:30 in the monring everytime we had a classes.
My mom always said that as a girl I need to learned how to cook as I am the one who always left in the house.
From cooking a rice and grilled to fried a dried fish ,I started learning to cooked some vegetables recipes.
When I was 14 years old ,during our vacation I was working for a summer for me to have something to buy my school needs.I worked as a housemaid for two months at the same time I am taking care of an old woman.
My boss taught me to cooked some dishes which always to prepared in their meals.Since its my job ,I don't have a choice but to do it and trying to learned it.
My boss liked my performance as a housemaid ,I am doing all the house chores from cleaning the house ,preparing their meals ,washing their laundry and taking care of their mother. With a $30 salary per month.
They offered me to be their working student and finish my fourth year in highschool and promised me to sent me in college.
It gives me a hope to study college so I said yes to them.A lot of things I learned from my almost two years experienced as a housemaid but sad to say I was'nt able to study college of some reasons.
I guess ,I had a long introduction story already haha ,well ,thats my story on how I learned to cook haha.Nad now that I am already a mom and a wife ,preparing our food is one of the thing I'd love to do.
So lets go for my string beans or yardlong beans recipe and its "sitaw or batong "in our dialect.
Ingredients needed
-string beans
-cooking oil
-soysauce
-garlic
-onion
--seasoning
-meat
Procedure
Cut first the string beans in a bite size .Anyway ,before cutting make sure you already wash it with clean water.
And prepared all the the ingredients. We don't have a pork meat and we only had fish ,a left over from our previous meal and I used it for this recipe.
In a hot pan ,saute the garlic and onion until you can smell the aroma of it then followed the meat then add the string beans.
After 2minutes ,add a soysauce and the seasoning to taste.
Wait for another one minute and turnoff the fire ,then garnish a spring onions and serve.
See,how how easy and quick recipe it.
Anyway ,I ge this string beans from my brother inlaw's garden. It is really fresh and organic vegetable as he was not using some chemicals on taking care of it.
And that would be all for my quick ,easy and budgeted recipe.I hope you learn something from my blog today.
Thanks for you support ,I really appreciate it馃
Love,
