A knock on the door,
I opened the gate after crawling on the floor,
There was standing a figure named Dream,
A smile on face and a silent scream..
"Its you again.." I grinned,
The feelings were brimmed,
Soon, the smile from my face was skimmed,
Hearing what the visitor had to say with a face, little dimmed...
"Its time.." The dream spoke,
"Its time for a change.." It wasn't a joke,
It was gonna fade away too, like a smoke,
But I wasn't ready to say "that's all folks"...
"Play with me..."
"Just.. Just stay with me.."
It said, "I ain't free.."
"I'm still on a killing spree.."
"Its a policy we have,
To make you our slave,
The things you so desperately crave,
Won't follow you into your grave..."
I was just standing there with tears and some fears,
I was riding this ride without any gears,
"I still want to hold you in my eyes, my dear..
Even though I'm sure, even if I scream, you won't hear.."
Even if an imagination,
Even if a fantasy,
I'll keep on dreaming,
I'll shut down the internal screaming...
My dream, I've sculptured you,
A figure, no one will understand, may be a few,
The reason I'm feeling blue,
Is that I just planted a seed, and it was a tree which grew...
No matter how many times I push you away,
You always come back, sometimes in night and sometime a day,
You're heavy, dream, you'll even gain more weight, you may,
But you're on repeat, everyday...
